Our Story

Man Friday Deli started in Kinsale with a simple focus: great food, made properly. Thanks to the support of a loyal local following, what began as a small deli quickly became a firm favourite.

Bringing Man Friday to Cork City was a natural next step. While our Cork deli has its own character, it stays true to what Man Friday is all about — fresh ingredients, quality coffee, and friendly service.

Horgan junior followed his Ballymaloe induction by working at several top London restaurants. He spent a year at Scott’s of Mayfair and 18 months with Skye Gyngell at Petersham Nurseries, before moving on to St John and then Nopi.
